Revamp Reenergize

Hey! why no photo on Emelee? You may asked. The initial aim I setup on this blog is to share my daughter's photo and reveal God's blessing on us, especially the day-to day growth of Emelee. Besides , I m not that kind of person can express myself and write very well. Having read most of the political blogs lately (and grown addicted to it!) and started to read some of our youth blogs; it gave me the urge to write more though. And I hope write more (or express) and of course; put on record some of my daughter's events. Hope also I am not talking to myself, maybe it helps.

Last Friday our cell group has the privilege of inviting Bro. William Kok from Aglow Assembly to perform to us "live" at Ee Yan's house (our usual cg gathering for 2nd and 4th week). Here is the photo of him and his lovely wife.

Listening to his music was really refreshing with his unique way of playing the guitar. I always wanted to learn play a guitar. You must check out his site here. Tons of tips and live video streaming on guitar techniques. Got Jay Chou somemore! I pray God will continue to bless and anoint this special couple, not forgetting, the baby! (Pei Leng was 4 months pregnant)

Maybe it's time for me to pick up a lesson and as usual; I may give all sort of excuse; commitment, no time, busy, take care daughter, wife :). Hope I shall do it one day (read "shall").

Back to my daugther; aiyah what to day liao! I can't ask for more for God's blessing to us to have Emelee. Each day is a special day; as I've said earlier, every day she has different characters and mood that amazed me. Something that always struck my heart and conscience whenever Emelee is naughty and not obedient - how hurt and sad it is for our heavenly Father when we do likewise? We do sometimes not abide to our Lord's instructions; worst things werewe do not event aware of it. That is why it's our prerogative to always confess our sins in our prayer. (1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness").

Tomorrow we shall be travel back to Seremban after service to celebrate my dad's 70th belated birthday. Shall update more then.

Cameron Highland Holiday

Just came back from 2 days holiday from Cameron Highland. Got myself refresh with the cool and clean air, at least at our apartment. We stayed one night at Strawberry Park resort. Resort location was good as it was on the hilltop and away from busy Brinchang town (1 km). Having a really cooling morning jog around the resort . We went along with our baby sitter and her 2 daughters. I drove her daugther car since her Toyota Avanza can accomodate more people.

Cameron has changed a lot 5 years since our last visit. More development and of course, this place seems very popular for steamboat. We had organic vegetable steamboat; since it was recommended by Astro's Axian (
http://www.axian788.com/). Quite pricey though - RM18.00 /pax. We took pure vegetable since our baby sitter family are vegetarian.

Emelee, as usual, really excite wherever we go. Though she thrown some tantrum on the way home.

The trip is not complete without buying vegetables! yes, we bought so many vegetables! Really cheap compared to KL. Our baby sitter really into bamboo shots which they bought so many from the orang asli along the way home. Driving home way a real challenge as it was raining heavily along the highway. Thank God for giving us this good, fellowship with baby sitter family and safe journey.

Staying Alert

No Emelee photo this time round as I was using another computer to update :(. Yes, I am taking about staying alert. Age is catching up on me. Nowadays, it's a real challenge to stay alert. Probably I usually slept very late. Can't understand how youth can stay a late. (did i mention youth?) I slept really early yesterday, at 8pm! That's why I am still alert now. emmm.... what should I do? download some "files" and do some testing on Internet connection and filtering.

Watch Planet Shakers - Saciour of the World DVD just now and this is the first time I've watch the entire video. Really blessed and touched to see so many people worship their hearts out. adios....

Losing Interest?

I know, I know, I’ve not been updating and writing enough, let alone uploading pictures of Emelee. Which reminds me of whether I’ve lesser enthusiasm nowadays on Emelee! I hope not! Absolutely, I think it’s normal to have that kind of thinking, right? (emh… answer for myself).

Anyhow, I have different thoughts on Emelee nowadays. Instead of anxiously seeing her change everyday and taking photo of her every now and then, I have more interested in her character development. Each day she gave me different experience. The way she react, her emotions and behaviour excites me. I think now is a crucial time for me and Alicia to really guide her, includes spending more value time with her. I pray that God will guide us through.

Winds of Change

It seems everyone were interested in politics, at in Malaysia Bolehland. Well on 8th March 2008 - Malaysia 12th General Election was over. In fact, full or surprises or I can say "expected". But I didn't imagine the opposition did so well. Anyway, that's history now and whoever elected to their positions should start cracking and fulfill their promises during their election campaign. I pray that God will grant them Godly wisdom and strength to lead this country to a greater heights.

Again, I have not been updating and posting Emelee picture about a month. She can walk reasonably well unassisted. That the start of nightmare for us, at least to her baby sitter! We have to closely watch her and she keeps on exploring every corner of the house. The happy moment for us was Emelee indeed a brilliant girl, she knows when to get her shoes every morning and get ready to go to her baby sitter house. When came home, she will keep her shoe into the shoe rack! That's amazing! She event know how to load a CD into the player! ~sigh~

We prayed for a child who has a heart for God; indeed I believe she will, judging from her friendly nature with all children. She will greet and hug most of the children she came across. Hope this friendly nature of Emelee will put to good use to glorify God in future.
