Time catching up

Time is catching up. I have to admit that I'm no longer that energetic as use to be. My whole body was aching now due to the fact that I still treat my body like 10 years ago. Running 5km is like running 10km. Can't imagine I was so "gung-ho" in those day when running 21km half-marathon shouldn't be a problem. This could be also due to the fact that I have not been running for quite some time. With Emelee on board and having to adjust our new lifestyles, this leave little time for me to do so, unless I sacrifice my sleep to wake up early in the morning, which I have done so for groceries shopping at wet market.

This led me to assess my own spiritual wellbeing. Yes, it has been slacking and I need some "spiritual exercise" to get back in shape spiritually.

As days goes by, Emelee starting to gain weight. That’s a good sign, thank God for that. However she still coughs occasional and we have to defer her scheduled immunization job. It is also a matter of time before she will be crawling. Look at this picture.

Look at her, she wanna craw. Breast milk really does wonders on her. She still yet to take a single drop of baby formula. Let’s continue to pray that she grow healthily.

5 Years Old Mother?

Sound so so weird isn't? A mother at 5 years old. According to Wired.com in 1939, May 14, Lina Medina became the youngest confirm mother in medical history, delivering a son at age 5. Check the full article at Wired news at

Time flies and guess what? It's Friday again! Time to rest our body and soul again. How I wish so! Yup, it's weekend thingy again, cleaning up, shopping for groceries, going to church. Seems to be routine. Well, this Saturday a bit differ from the norm. Going to company sponsored charity run. Hmm.. running is my favorite and it has been few years never participate in marathons. However, this time is just merely 5 km leisure run. However, have not been training for even for 1 km. Lets see what happen tomorrow.

3 months

Yes, it has been exactly 3 months since Emelee was born on 14 Feb. She has gained some weight although initially we were so concern about her tiny size. If not because of her fever and cough these few days, she will definitely gained more. She is more alert nowadays with most of our queries responses with smiles.
Training her to sleep early at 8pm with another feeding at 11pm. So far she adapted to it quite well. However, Alicia has to sacrifice her sleep by waking up around 2-3am for another feeding.
We used to let her sleep at 11pm until the next morning.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers! Especially to my wife, who will be celebrating for the first time as a mother. Are they really happy? well, it is not easy to be a mother, obviously. I think most mothers out there agree with me. they really need to be appreciated. In show of appreciation, I brought my wife to Korean restaurant in Ampang for dinner. Emelee also attracted Korean these kids. .......
Every year, this day usually most of the restaurant were pack with people who bring their mother's / parents for a treat. Got to know also Mother’s day is celebrated on different days throughout the world. Thank you thank you Mom.... God will continue to comfort mothers as she comforts her child -
Isaiah 66:13.

My girl is sick!

Has been long never update and I kept telling myself to update, update, update this blog! Though it will be more appealing to read others blog rather updating my own.

Visited mom in-law’s in Kulai, Johor during Labour and Wesak day holiday early this month.

Emelee was sick yesterday, coughing and high fever. Thank God it has subsided this morning and now she is back to normal chirpy mood, though at times a bit fussy. Hope we have better sleep tonight…. Yes, welcome to the reality of parenthood. There is so much more to learn and explore as parent. Now she prefers to sit on our lap.

This month is going to be another busy month for me, having 3 projects on hand running concurrently. Keep remind myself "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble – Psalm 46:1".
